Impala Junior Squash Tournament 2014

The November 19 and under junior Squash tournament took Place at Impala Club on 8th November 2014 and was generously sponsored by KSRA and Impala Sports Club.

This tournament which featured 19 and under age groups attracted a total of 20 entries.  There was high level of intense competition among the players and no serious case of indiscipline was witnessed.  The players also took turns to mark and referee each others games voluntarily which was quite impressive.

The spectators witnessed an abundance of talent which we hope to nurture through successive camps and tournaments. The most exciting and dazzling Squash match was in the Under 16’s the match between Ryan Anthony from Banda School and Kelvin Gichamba from Parklands Boys High School that went to 3-2 in favor of Kelvin Gichamba. This match was going either way.

KSRA would like to congratulate boys from ParklandsBoysHigh School who were available for the tournament and showed a lot of improvement and interest in the game of squash.

The tournament was organized by the Kenya Squash Rackets association in conjunction with David Mulwa, a squash coach in various schools in the country and hosted by Impala Club hosted the tournament.
